Each of our handmade accessories is thoughtfully crafted by Béhanke Bentley—a 27-year-old creator based in Waverley, Pretoria, where she lives with her husband, André, and their two beloved furbabies.
The story of BEHAN began during a deeply personal chapter in Béhanke and André’s lives. Upon learning they would need medical assistance to start their dream family, they found unexpected comfort and peace through creativity. What started as a simple way to stay hopeful and focused soon blossomed into a passion—bringing beautiful hair accessories to life.
While many assume the name BEHAN comes solely from Béhanke’s name, it’s actually a heartfelt blend of Béhanke and André—a true reflection of their partnership, love, and shared journey.
What began with scrunchies has now grown into a full range of elegant accessories, including Scrunchies with Tie-Ons, Scrunchies with Tails, Knotted Headbands, and Clipped Hairbows (with and without tails). Every item is designed to bring joy, beauty, and a touch of something special to your everyday look.
