I made 'Ultramarine' using leaves from my garden and when it came out the kiln I loved it ...definitely a wow! I love the different blues with a golden colour. When my daughter saw this leaf she said: "it looks like the galaxy". Every time I look at it I'm amazed at how it turned out.

Pottery for me is a form of meditation; I can get lost for hours creating my designs while listening to relaxing music. The challenge of making something new and inspiring is the driving force behind my work. I love creating something where the end result is completely unknown until the kiln is opened.
